Brooklynn could hardly contain her excitement as she pulled into the crowded beach parking lot. It was the first truly hot day of summer and she was determined to make the most of it. After finding a spot for her car, she grabbed her beach bag and headed towards the shore.
The sun felt glorious on her skin as she laid out her towel and settled in to soak up some rays. Brooklynn spent the next few hours alternating between sunbathing, swimming in the cool blue ocean, and taking leisurely strolls along the water’s edge.
As the day went on, Brooklynn noticed the sun beginning its descent towards the horizon. She decided this would be the perfect opportunity to get an iconic summer shot of herself with the sunset in the background. Brooklynn waded into the deeper water until it was up to her waist. With the sun casting its oranges and pinks across the sky behind her, she posed with her arms spread open and a big smile on her face. She took a few snaps with her phone to make sure she got the perfect shot.
After reviewing the photos, there was no doubt in Brooklynn’s mind that she had captured the quintessential beach sunset photo. The mix of colors in the sky complemented her sun-kissed skin and bathing suit perfectly. Brooklynn gleefully deemed this photo “the shot” – the one she would treasure from her carefree summer day at the beach.
