Marie woke up early on a sunny Saturday morning. She pulled back the curtains in her bedroom and smiled when she saw the clear blue sky. It was going to be a perfect day for swimming.

She put on her favorite red one-piece swimsuit and grabbed a towel before heading out to the backyard. Marie lived in a small house with a large in-ground pool that she absolutely loved. Swimming was her favorite hobby.

As soon as she stepped outside, she could already feel the warmth of the sun’s rays. She dipped her toes in the water to test the temperature. It was a little chilly, but that didn’t bother Marie. She loved swimming, no matter how warm or cold the water was.

Marie slipped into the pool, submerging her body in the crisp water. She smiled contently as she began doing laps from one end of the pool to the other. With each lap, her muscles loosened up more and more. Marie got lost in her own little world as she swam, forgetting about everything else besides the feeling of gliding through the water.

After about 30 minutes, Marie stopped at the shallow end to catch her breath. She closed her eyes and leaned her head back, letting the sun wash over her face. The light refracted in the ripples of the pool, creating a dazzling watery dance. Marie wished she could stay there swimming in her pool forever.
